Hayam Elsayed at the London Art Fair
Hayam Elsayed is a portrait artist based in London who seeks to paint the ordinary, analysing simple subjects that will encourage the viewer to look more closely at the many wonderful and beautiful things surrounding us daily.Elsayed has been impassioned by fine art lifelong, often inspired by life and nature which she paints in realism. As a realism artist, Elsayed’s approach to a subject matter is to portray it as it really appears in life; whilst also drawing from other art styles, such as impressionism and abstract art. For example, Elsayed finds inspiration in artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Georgia O’Keeffe, Thomas Kinkaid all the way to the realism of Renaissance portraits from the likes of Leonardo and Botticelli, Michelangelo; drawing especially from the latter’s recognised skilful style of painting that uses light to dramatically highlight specific points in the composition.
Elsayed uses oil paint to create her art, which she says, ‘painting in oils is a traditional form of art that many of the Old Masters used when they created their masterpieces. I love these works and strive to attain their level of craft and skill’.Hayam is represented by ARTE GLOBALE, who work with a hand-picked selection of international contemporary artists, providing a platform for collectors to discover, enjoy and acquire exceptional art.
